The name ROSTISLAV stands for GROWING GLORY or in other words GREAT GLORY, it is also not only Ukrainian but a name common for all Slavic languages. That is used in countries like Russia, Bulgaria, the entire former SU, as well as Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia etc --- and, curiously in Canada where there are millions of Slavic-origin citizens
