Last week I met a boy called Zeger. I can't find this name anywhere. Does anyone know where it comes form and what it means?

I know it's used as a surname in Dutch. See here for the meaning http://surnames.behindthename.com/php/search.php?terms=zegers&type=n&operator=or (Zegers is the most common variant of this surname here).

Hey!

Thank you. I hadn't thought of that. I'm from Belgium and I it's used as a surname here too, but it's mostly spelled Segers.
