Heria
There aren't any real names that mean 'brave' in this database that are feminine and that I like. So, naturally, I made one of my own. I found an online translator and kept translating until I found a name I liked. Heria is Welsh for "I challenge, I dare, I brave, I defy", but I can't seem to find it anywhere except for the translator (InterTrans, FYI). So...
1. Has anyone found any evidence that this was ever used as as name (given name, not a surname)?
2. Can you find any info on this word? I've tried several online Welsh dictionaries and search engines and I haven't found anything.

All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts.
~ W. Shakespeare

PS...How about Hero or Hera? Or Valeria?

I doubt this was ever used as a Welsh name, as they don't tend to end with 'a' - the few in the database here are Anglicised feminisations, afaik. 'Herio' is indeed 'to challenge', and is in my Welsh dictionary, but 'I challenge' would be 'heriaf'. Facebook lists a few Herias, who all seem to be Indonesian.
