Tranet
I saw the name Tranet on a woman's gravestone in Cornwall (would have been born in mid-1800s if I remember correctly). Anyone know anything about this name? Googling isn't getting me too far on this one - mostly turning up Intranet stuff even if I try to exclude that.

It may have some other etymology too, but it was used as a Romany name in the UK, with variants Tranetta and Tranette, at round about that period. Other similar variants were Tryanty and Tranity, so I think it's probably a corruption of Trinity.
