On this site I found
http://www.salon.com/mwt/feature/1999/03/cov_23feature2.htmlThe hero of "The Jungle Book" is the wild boy Mowgli (meaning "Frog"), "as soft and as dimpled a little thing as ever came to a wolf's cave at night." And on this one

Mowgli - Little Frog
but though I have heard somewhere else not, sure where, that the name means frog / little frog, I cant find if it is a made up name ie the wolf word for frog, or if it actually has some real language originImage hosted by Photobucket.com
