I need some help finding the meaning of "Geziena". I saw it on two gravestones of some relatives of mine, and I'm curious as to anyone would have any info about the name.
I think the name is Dutch (that's where my family is originally from), and it's a female name, but that's about all I know.
Any info is appeciated.

I don't know what's happening in Dutch naming circles, but here in South Africa it's hardly used at the moment. Had its day, though - in the nineteenth century, mostly, when the President of the South African Republic, Paul Kruger, married a woman called Gezina: the capital of his little country was Pretoria, and one of its suburbs is called Gezina to this day, in her honour.
