Scandinavian name Gry -- Pronunciation?

I have an extremely basic understanding of Scandinavian pronunciation, so I'm not entirely sure how this name is pronounced. From what I've seen, 'y' in Danish and Swedish is pronounced like a 'u' with umlaut. Does this apply to this name?

Yes it does, Gry rhymes with French "rue" and German "früh".
