Re: Poll and Open Letter to Mike C. re. Elaine.
I'll give her this--she had my 75-year-old Spanish-speaking grandmother(who was visiting yesterday) in hysterics! "Elena Loca" was apparently much more entertaining than the Springeresque daytime talk shows on Telemundo that she normally watches. She kept saying "Viva Nanaea!" after reading her replies:). So, Elaine, I'd have to agree with Nana Josefina(and everyone else) on this one: don't let the puerta smack you on the nalgas on the way out;)!

I looooove your Nana Josefina, and I haven't even met her! Did she really say "Viva Nanaea"? :) And did you have to translate all that stuff into Spanish for her? Coz that would've been quite interesting in itself. :)And, I'm going to remember that line: "Don't let the puerta smack you on the nalgas on the way out." LOL! Too cool, Melissa. :)"Elena Loca"... Heheheh. :)-- Nanaea

Yep, she really said it. She's a trip;). The translating part wasn't as tedious as it sounds--she was reading over my shoulder, and she actually reads English pretty well, it's just speaking it that's hard for her. She was still laughing about it when she got home, I guess--my grandfather was impressed that I managed to find something to distract her from her Mexican soap operas;)!
