I love the name Tadhg, I am considering naming my son this, and I of course prefer the original Irish spelling. Sadly, I live in the US and Tadhg would be horribly mispronounced.
Is there an Anglicized version with the correct pronunciation "TIEG"? All I am able to find are Tighe and Teige - are these correct to the pronunciation?

I'd probably go with Tighe. I knew a Tyg once, but I think his name was short for Tiger. I think if you put an "e" in it anywhere, it looks like it should be TEEG.
The traditional anglicization of the name is Teague, but this is pronounced either TAIG or TEEG, which aren't really the right pronunciation.

It's up for grabs, there's no official one way to Anglicize it. I've seen Teigue used on a kid here in the US. I think that, or Taigue, are the most likely to get their pronunciation guessed correctly. I also think you can just use the original spelling. People are more teachable than you fear, and ever so many names get mispronounced at first anyway.
