This looks like a variant of Erdmute. According to the "Duden" about given names, this name was coined around 1600 and contains the two German elements "Erde" (earth) and "Mut" (courage, bravery).

Rather a misspelling than a variant. Google doesn't give me one hit. Foerstemann doesn't have it either (as a contraction of a possible name composed of the two elements ERM + MUT).
