I have read the meanings given here. these are all wrong.
Nousherwan is a Persian word comprising 2 parts.
No means new
sherwan means flowing sweet water (like fountain, chashma etc
it means a newly started fountain of sweet water
this is authentic meaning. there is no such thing like Nine lions to this name

Are you sure that you posted in the right place? I can't find any name Nousherwan in the database behind this site, nor a name given with a meaning of "nine lions".
