ADDING ELEMENTS TO THE NAME
Hi. I would like to bring some elements for the name "IGNAE", I suggested to the community a few days ago. IGNAE is a rare male name we find in many 19th century registries from Eastern Europe (Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, etc.).It will certainly have a Slavic origin.See:
- 1890s, from Bremen area (today Germany) : IGNAE BZSAK. http://www.germanimmigrants1890s.com/index.php?id=306183- 1850s, from today's Slovakia : IGNAE HAAS. http://www.geni.com/people/Ignae-Haas/6000000007174533881- 1850s, from Hungary : IGNAE SZEKERES. http://www.geni.com/people/Ign%C3%A1e-Szekeres/6000000026496023804Kind regardsLudwig Y.

It is probably a reading/OCR error for Ignaz. Note that historical data needed to be handled with care.
