There are a couple of changes to the search form at the top of the page.
1. Matching name elements now show in the search suggestions. If you aren't familiar with the *name elements* on this site, they are a collection of words, word fragments and other non-name elements that somehow figure in the construction of names. You can browse this collection here: https://www.behindthename.com/elements. If you view a name element, you can see all the names descended from it (eg https://www.behindthename.com/element/hild). This collection includes many Chinese/Japanese/Korean logograms and their transcriptions, and you can search for them by entering either the logogram or the transcription into the search bar.
2. Search suggestions now show after you enter a single character. Previously you had to type at least 2 letters. This is helpful when searching by Chinese character.
