I e-mailed Annie Sguerzi in France to try to find out the meaning of that name for you. She's the lady who maintains the website for certain breeds of dogs which had that name listed there as a possible name for pedigreed dogs born this year. Annie didn't remember what the name meant, but she believes it may have come from the name "Sylvestre". She has promised to continue looking for the name on a few Scandinavian sites, and she will let me know when she finds it.If you would like to e-mail her directly and thank her, her addy is:annie.sguerzi@free.frIf you decide to e-mail her, I suggest you also go to an online translator and translate your message into French first. I don't believe she speaks English, as she e-mailed back to me in French. Try this site for translations:http://www.translate.ru/eng/text.aspGood luck, Ben! :)-- Nanaea
