Almanzo Hutchins was a prominent man that lived in Malone NY at the time the Wilders lived there . He was a civil engineer and local politician. I wonder if Almanzo was named after him?

Thank you for this information as my name is Almanzo and I always get people asking where my name is from. Most people say is that Spanish? so I'm wondering if it was originally from some Spanish pioneer imagrants? Thanks Almanzo 👍
