What does the name Igmedio mean?
I did a quick google search on google, and I found that there is a Saint Igmedius Chapel in Pandi, Bulacan, but when I searched "St. Igmedius", nothing turned up. Maybe Igmedio comes from Igmedius, and if that's the case, I'd like to know what Igmedius means.Rate my pnl - https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/219194

Here is a link to a Facebook page talking about San Igmedio: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1051546301603730&id=107760262649010&m_entstream_source=timeline&__tn__=%2As%2As-R
I don't see any information about him outside of this Facebook page, though.

By looking up which saints have feast days on June 1 (that's the day of their death for most, where that's known) I discovered that the man called St. Igmedio in the Philippines seems to be St. Inigo elsewhere:https://www.catholic.org/saints/saint.php?saint_id=290

You're always finding interesting names! I hope that the Chapel gives you your answer.

This is a very obscure name. Igmedio and Igmedia seem to only be used by those of Filipino ancestry. Since you are in the Philippines yourself, I would advise you to contact Saint Igmedius Chapel and see what information they have about the saint they were named after. That could be a starting point on figuring out the derivation of the name.

Thanks! I guess I'm a bit young to do that, so hopefully, I'll remember to do it when I'm older :)

You can certainly write them a letter asking about this no matter how young you are. If you can write these posts on a discussion board, I know you are capable of that. :)
