I am Richard, My wife is Marianne, we have named our daughter Richanne, That is half of my name and half of my wife's name.
Is there any reference to this name anywhere, or is it possiblly unique?
If it is unique, do I register it or what ?

the name is very unique but its thoughtful also, I think its kinda neat

It sounds very nice and I think though I don't know that you could find someone out there that has the same name or one that is spelled the same but pronounced a bit different. I have not met anyone with that name but it is very pretty and since you combined two names there is a good chance that it is very unique!!!

Sorry, Richard, but somebody thought of inventing the name "Richanne" before you. They've already "registered" it with the Kabalarians:

It's a pretty name, though. If Richanne ever has a little sister, you could name her "Cheriann", which is an anagram of "Richanne".
