Last Name As First Name
I'm not really into this. But, not sure about this one. Do you think Brady is a last name as a first name, or a legitimate first name?

There's nothing "illegitimate" about last names as first names. Names such as Spencer, Grant, Cooper, and many more are last names that have found their way into first name status. No reason to characterize them as "illegitimate."

Miranda's right, but as so many Irish surnames are being readapted as given-names, I'll quickly throw out there that it's better than average. Most Irish surnames are derived from masculine given-names and I find their readaption (no matter the sex) culturally beneficial.
