MARY MOLLISSA BUTTS

Searching for reference to middle name MOLLISSA. This was my ggg-gm married to Wm Allen PORTER. We think she went primarily by Mollie or Molly although her given name really appears to be Mary . This very website indicates Molly is a pet name for Mary so we're still left wondering about MOLLISSA. It's been recorded that way and as the more common Melissa . On the LDS website she's Mollie Melissa Butts - no mention of Mary . An Internet search for MOLLISSA turns up a bunch of Finnish websites... I have conflicting reports of her birthplace, New York or Vermont. One place says her parents were born in Vermont. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, Pavlos et al - not bad... I can appreciate a good anagram along with the rest - glad I was able to offer such worthy fodder ;D Although judging from the look on the single picture we have of her - I'm certain she'd fail to see the humor..
My only worry is that these posts stand a good chance of constituting the entirety of future search engine hits for my long lost relative..
