And sounds like "Yander". Could it be that his name is actually spelled "Jander"?In which case, his name might be a diminutive of "Alejander", which is an alternate spelling of "Alejandro ", which is the Spanish form of "Alexander ".-- Nanaea

I dunno... It's a kinda long-shot guess...Because I don't speak Spanish, and I'm not really certain if the "j" in "Alejander" should have a "y" sound or a "h" sound.Maybe someone else here might be able to help some more on this.-- Nanaea
