Meagan,
Meghan, etc. (you name the spelling, I've seen it - LOL), and they've all pronounced it as
May-gen. I've only known one girl who spelled her name as
Megan and wanted her name pronounced as
MEE-gahn (the overall pronunciation was overly exaggerated), but her parents intended the pronunciation
May-gen.
I prefer
May-gen, and I live on the East Coast, USA.
