Actually, the fact that he didn't turn out to be pure evil is one of the things that gets on my nerves the most about
Draco.
He wasn't good or evil; he was just a git. A snivelling, self-serving, cowardly git, which is disappointing, because as a character he could have been so much more complex than that. I really think J.K. could have done a lot more with his character.
And although you may not be bothered by associations with
Harry Potter, I can't help but feel that while the name remains so tied to the character, it isn't especially viable as a name for a real person. Perhaps with time that could change.
