What do you think of Ariel, Arielle and Ariella?
In general, they are NMS but I don't dislike them out of hand.
Which one is your favorite and which one your least favorite?
Fave: Ariel
Least: Ariella
Do you pronounce Ariel and Arielle differently?
Yes. Ariel is AIR-ee-el; Arielle is ah-REE-elle
Is it too tied to the little mermaid?
No. To me that's like saying Jasmine is too "princess-y" or Charlotte reminds you of a spider or Peter a rabbit.
Do you know anyone with those names?
No, but I know a few Ariannas
Do you like Ariela?
Not too much.
The nickname Ari?
It's fine as a nickname she's called occasionally, but not as a preferred shortened name. Ari is a guy's name imho.
