Evander is in fact one of my two favorite boys' names, but I don't care for Blake. I guess I can see how it could be considered preppy and trendy, but to me it's too obviously over-masculine. But then, it's not really horrible. Not as bad as some other obviously over-masculine names.

Evander, though, that strikes the right balance. Masculine without being overly so. It's underused, but not "out there", as most people have heard it, and underused is a good thing.
