Frances - I wouldn't use it IRL because I prefer Francis for a boy; but Frances is excellent: pretty, grounded, classic. It does tend to become Fran, but better that than Fanny of course. Just Frances would be so nice.
Felicity - Like the sound, like the rhythm, like the meaning ... but there is always the risk of being known as Lissie or Fee.
Fay - pleasant and unexpected as a mn; I know a Tessa Fay! As a fn, insubstantial.
Fern - hmmm ... not floral exactly, but the same sort of name. Spoilt for me by a medical student long ago! Ferns are among my favourite plants, though.
Frida - fascinating Mexican atist, but a counter-intuitive way of spelling what is to me a German name. Frieda or Freda would fit my world more comfortably.
