[Opinions] Re: Olaus

First, as someone who, after decades and two generations of family members working to piece together family history, can only trace his ancestry back to the mid-19th century, I'm extremely impressed you have records and knowledge of ancestry dating back so far.I do have to admit, upon first seeing this name, I saw it as a typo missing the first chunk of the name a la Nikolaus.I kind of like Olaf, but more in a theoretical sense. To that end, Olaus reads as something one might use for a character's name in a medieval era-set novel. I have a hard time imagining it in use today.
