I do think they complement one another, but having watched a lot of mountaineering documentaries, I am adverse to using Everest as a name when Everett is close enough!
Avalon is pretty and I think it works better because many people would never know the association with King Arthur.
But, I would choose Ava (or Avaline) and Everett over Avalon and Everest.
