I used to really dislike
Naomi but it has grown on me. I think someone here mentioned awhile ago that it could be pronounced "nah-oh-mee" instead of "nay-oh-mee", and I find the former much prettier. I probably wouldn't use it though (not as a first name anyway) because where I live I've only heard the name pronounced "nay-oh-mee", which I don't like nearly as much. I also really like
Noemi which avoids the 'y' sound I dislike in "nay-oh-mee".
