[Opinions] Re: Reine?
I like the sound, but I took French, so I can't disconnect it from the meaning. It's like naming a daughter Queenie in English. Just not really my style. However, I think in an English speaking country, the vast majority of people won't immediately connect the name with the meaning. I think the sound is pretty (I like Raina, too), and I think Beren, Liv, and Reine work together well in a sibset. My one issue is the nickname Ren - I loathe it. This is entirely because of the cartoon "Ren and Stimpy," but Ren bugs me so much. I also think Reine is so short that it does not need a nickname.
