I wouldn't do it just because of the "gay" teasing possibilities, but I do know of a famous Galen (this spelling) in the running world. He's one of the best college runners in the country and I believe goes to Oregon. He'd be the first assosiation that I'd make rather than gay, so I guess it would be ok.
