It's cute if populartiy does not bother you. Amy is the better nickname in my opinion. As for the combo I don't like Poppy because I think it's not a name a grown woman should have and since every girl will grow up someday I'd avoid it. With Ruth it's the opposite, almost too mature but that I can handle that.
