Zion and Astrid are a couple from 2072 who on their honeymoon decided to vacation via time travel to 1950 (you know before the giant robots and all). Unfortunately on their way home they took a wrong turn and got lost in 2012 and their time machine broke down. So until they can fix it they are just going to have to (most likely unsucessfully) blend in and live in our world.
