Well,
Winston is a one-owner name if ever I've seen one - as a fn, of course.
Even John Lennon had it as a mn! And Winstanley is a surname, so it could well crop up as a lnfn. But
Wynnstan is just awful. The over-decorated femininity of
Wynn, stapled on to the austere maleness of
Stan simply doesn't work. Or, I hope it doesn't.
