The majority of regular users on this website are from English-speaking countries, so that's probably why there tends to be a bias towards anglophone opinions. Obviously people from countries that speak other languages might have different opinions on names. The pervasiveness of the English language as an international language is also a reason for it, since English is spoken as a second language all over the world.
