I remember this name making a few laps around the children's fantasy genre when I was growing up. Unfortunately, my immediate thought is 'septic tank' when I hear it, and it has never appealed to me because of that. I can't undo the connection.
Septimus Rigg is a name made for fantasy, though! That sounds rad. I'd totally read a book about his adventures.
