My niece is named Kimberley Paige (16). At first I was really surprised because it's rather dated. Actually, I still think it's dated. Her family calls her by the full name or Kimmy or Kim. I've always called her Kim. Actually, all of the Kimberlys I have ever known (quite a few) have been called Kim.

I think you could definitely push for the full name, however, there's no telling what she or her friends would call her.
