As a Georgia, I think Jorja is a very sorry version of my name.
However, it is true that fewer and fewer people know how to spell or pronounce Georgia. I'm old so I have some perspective on this. I now routinely spell my name out. I would say that for at least half the people I encounter it is necessary, whereas in the past, not so much. Also, upon someone seeing Georgia in print, I increasingly am greeted with a puzzled look and a mangled pronunciation.
Still, none of this excuses Jorja.
