Re: Julia v. Juliet?

My vote is for Julia. It is a steadier name, whereas Juliet is going through a sudden popularity peak (see http://www.babynamewizard.com/baby-name/girl/juliet) which means it will likely sound dated to future generations. Julia is an older classic whose popularity fallen & risen over time, but not in sudden spurts (http://www.babynamewizard.com/baby-name/girl/julia).
I personally like the sound of Julia better. Juliet has that awkward issue of enunciating the "t" (some people do and some let it hang). I like the stress on "JU" instead of "ET."
My favorite of your combos is Julia Charlotte.
I don't think Juliet is too "out there" to pair with Abigail at all. They are both pretty girls names that have 3 syllables. I do think Julia & Abigail would pair more nicely though. They are closer in popularity.
Congrats & good luck!
