1. Sorry, but I really dislike
Brooks as a name for either gender. It's just so distinctly a surname that it's way too impersonal to be a first name, IMO. Also, I really don't like the sound or look of it. It's so harsh and unattractive. I guess it would be an OK nn for
Brooke - though I immensely dislike the name
Brooke, too - but I think it would be best to leave it for the
Brooks family to cherish and pass down.
2. Cozy would be plain silly as a full name, but I wouldn't mind it as a NN because I think nicknames can be just anything since they're not official. I don't particularly like it even as a mere NN, though.
