I feel that way about
Thomas as well. It's one of those names that was so common for so long that I completely overlook it, but now, when I think on it objectively, I find it very appealing. I have an Uncle
Tommy, and a close friend of the family is a
Tom, though, so I don't know.
Though Tippins' description of
Mirella was delightful, I don't think it has that feeling (though I am in total agreement about
Gianna,
Liliana and
Caramia haha). That being said, I don't really like it. I don't think it's too close to
Mira; I just don't find the sounds appealing together. I do like Mir- names, and I do like -ella names, but somehow, it just isn't working for me. Have you considered
Marcella?
