I think it's an okay name. It's not something I would use, but I don't mind it. I'm sure that if all of the spellings were added together, Carly would have made the top 100 at some point.
Off the top of my head, I know that I have met a Carlie and a Karli. Carlie is probably about 16 now, and Karli is now in her early 20s.
