I'm with you in that I'm not into
Tammy but I sure like
Tamara (pr. tah-MAR-uh, not tah-MARE-uh). That's my main problem with the name. It (or rather
Tammy) is dated and everyone seems to want to pronounce it differently.

Tamar, I want to like it, but I don't care for the stress on the 'mar' part.
I'm interested to see what everyone thinks since I think it's an awesome name.
