Names don't change their meaning in different places. Nancy in Haiti is the same as Nancy anywhere else, and can be found by clicking on it when it shows up as blue lettering.Unless, of course, there's a native Haitian name that sounds similar to Nancy, in which case people might have perceived Nancy as a higher status form and used it instead - where I live, there used to be girls named Mpolokeng who used Pauline or Paula in a Western context; nowadays they mostly prefer their traditional name ...
