I think u guys are looking at it the wrong way...
Katrina itself is an ENGLISH version of a GREEK name.
There are french and german and IRISH variations of Aikaterine.And sometimes a name is taken and given an english variation and that variation is made into an irish variation which is made into whatever. So is Kathleen English? Yes. Is Catriona Irish? Yes.The names are of English or Irish heritage - id est that's where they were used in that form, irrespective of their geneology.Hope that helps~SD
