Excuse me, but where are you from? I hate to guess, however, Kesten means chestnut in croatian (serbian as well).I never heard someone was actually named that. On the other hand, there are many flower/fruit/herbal inspired names in Croatian that might sound even more unusual, but are very poetic (Višnja, Jagoda, Grozdana, Smiljan, Neven, Bosiljka, Ivančica,Rašeljka, itd.).
