I joined this group in hopes to find out the origin and meaning of my name, Nawassa. What I can tell you is that my mom heard it called out in her school hallway, Pendleton Or. I have searched native american names and found the male version, Nawassia...But not totally sure that it is native american. Hope someone can help me...I have been wondering for 20 about my name.
