In the beginning, I was not a fan of this name. Nor of any relations to it. But I must say that it has grown on me greatly since time of first sight. I do definitely see it climbing on the popularity in the next few years, as the name "Aiden" has (which I have never found a wonderful name), for it takes a bit to "grow" on you.
Overall, "Abele" has a masculine tone to it, I'd say.
