Very beautiful name that can be used instead of Abigail or Aubrey.
I think that Abilene is a beautiful name! If you can’t use Abigail, opt for this more uncommon, similar-sounding name!
Abilene is a town close where I live so I don't like it because that's all I think of!
I really love this name my personal favorite middle name for it is Abilene Kate.
This was my favorite girl's name when I was little.
I actually like this name, it’s a great alternative to Abigale, or Abby.
A pretty name. As another commenter stated, this could be a good alternative to Abigail if you want the nickname "Abby". It's definitely on my list, and it's also not too common either.
This name really grew on me. I hated it, and now I love it (Not as much as I love the name Ocean, though).
Abilene is a very pretty unusual name, that could even work for secular parents since it doesn't have a religious meaning. And the meaning of the popular name Chloe also has to do with grass.
I love the Sheryl Crow song Abilene (Abbey-leen) and I have always remembered this name because of it. I like that it's unusual, yet has a well known nickname Abbie, Abby. It is a lovely name and I would definitely use it on a daughter.
I love this name in contrast to lengthy Evangeline. I remember reading The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is 2nd grade and instantly loving it.
Very sweet name, but I pronounce it ay-bill-leen. That's the only way I've ever heard it pronounced.
This name is actually quite pretty for a girl, maybe an alternative to Abigail with the nickname Abby.
