Pronounced AYL-frik. Hear it said in Danish: https://forvo.com/word/%C3%A6lfric/#da
In Anglo-Saxon England, the "ric" name element was pronounced like how most English-speakers pronounce "rich" today; so, this name would've been pronounced EL-fritsh in its time (perhaps later becoming AL-fritsh, as the ash seemed to take on a short-A sound in masculine names over time - see Alfred).
