Ælfwine (c. 661–679) was the King of Deira from 670 to 679. He was a son of Oswiu of Northumbria and a brother of Ecgfrith of Northumbria.
A variant, Elfwine, is used in Tolkien's works as the name of Éomer and Lothíriel's son.
Ælfwine of England, an early character of fantasy author J. R. R. Tolkien who was later abandoned in later writings.
